Camera Grid collects no data.

Everything the app does happens on your iPhone: the camera, the composition analysis (Apple’s on-device Vision), your scores and your history. The app has no account, no analytics and no network connection of its own. Nothing about you or your photos is sent to us or to anyone else.

Buying Camera Grid Pro goes through Apple’s App Store, which handles the payment. Camera Grid only receives a confirmation from your device that Pro is unlocked. We never see your name, your Apple Account or your payment details.

All of them are optional, and what they give is used only on your iPhone.

Camera

To show the guide over what you point at, and to take the photo. The picture is analysed on the phone and never leaves it.

Photos

To save your pictures to your library, with add-only access. Camera Grid asks for full access only if you delete a photo from inside the app, and uses it only to delete that photo. It never reads your library.

Location

Off by default. If you turn it on in Settings → Capture, your location is written only into the photo’s details in your library. Camera Grid does not keep it or send it anywhere.

Microphone

Only for Live Photos, when you turn them on, to record their sound into the photo.

Motion

To know how you hold the phone: its tilt and angle, which some guides need. The readings are used live and not stored.

Camera Grid keeps each photo’s score and the guide you used, and a smaller copy of your 30 most recent photos so its viewer can show them. They live in the app’s private storage, are left out of backups and are deleted when you delete the app. Settings → Clear photo history removes them sooner.

cameragrid.app sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Every page loads only from this site: the fonts are served from here, and nothing is requested from another host. Like any web server, the host keeps standard server logs (the address a request came from, the page asked for, the time and the browser’s name), used to run and protect the site.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
